MISSION
As a Veterinary Social Worker I am dedicated to promoting sustainable practices, and lifestyle choices that benefit humans, animals, and the environment. I believe in bringing together and building equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging. I empower animal caretakers and veterinary professionals to explore their relationships and values while promoting the well-being of all human and non-human animal interactions.
FOCUS
Veterinary Social Work plays a vital role in supporting both animal guardians and veterinary professionals by addressing the human needs and emotions that arise in and outside of veterinary settings. Such as, animals and domestic violence, animal associated trauma, conflict dispute resolution, new animal counseling, adoption adjustments, patient advocacy, medical care planning, hospice care and end of life decisions, animal spirituality, and support for veterinary professionals and those in animal rescue.

I have dedicated my life to assisting, helping and resolving issues regarding human-animal relationships with compassion and kindness. I believe that my extensive experience as a veterinary nurse (20+), social worker, certified mediator, university instructor, public speaker, and post-graduate work in environmental ethics and environmental racism, has prepared me for the numerous services that I offer.
