ABOUT VETERINARY SOCIAL WORK AND ANIMAL SPIRITUALITY
MISSION
As a Veterinary Social Worker and Animal Spiritual Counselor I believe in the shared sacred connection and consciousness between human and non-human animals. I am dedicated to providing guidance to improve the quality of life for all beings. I am here to support animal caretakers and those within the veterinary community to further explore those connections, both personally and professionally. Together we can learn how to better listen with our hearts in order to create something truly life changing for one another, and the non-human animals we share our lives with.
VETERINARY SOCIAL WORK: A WHOLE-HEARTED APPROACH TO CARE
Veterinary Social Work offers compassionate relationship-centered support and support within larger systems that shape how humans and nonhuman animals live, suffer, and are cared for. It is grounded in the understanding that animal wellbeing is inseparable from human wellbeing, community condition, and the structures that influence access to care. Veterinary social work operates from a whole-systems perspective that integrates animal welfare, human mental health, social justice, and ethical care. With a focus on relationship-centered support, my work honors the deep bonds between people and animals and recognizes animals as sentient beings with emotional, relational, and spiritual significance.

I have dedicated my life to providing supportive care, within human and non-human animal relationships. I believe in collaboration and discovering ways we can work together to create positive change rooted in mindful practices. My extensive experience as a veterinary nurse, social worker, spiritual animal counselor, certified mediator, university instructor, and public speaker, has prepared me to offer guidance that is both nurturing and trust based.
